Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed officials to immediately send at least two planes of humanitarian aid to Lebanon and Gaza adding aid supplies should be sent by truck in addition to utilizing air routes .
Chairing a review meeting in Islamabad regarding aid being sent by Pakistan to Gaza and Lebanon, he said the people including overseas Pakistanis should support the government in helping Palestinian and Lebanese brothers and sisters by depositing donations in IBAN:PK11SBPD000000111111429.
Directing to accelerate the transportation of the assistance, Shehbaz Sharif emphasized ensuring the aid reaches to the right people at the right time.

He also directed to launch a full awareness campaign regarding the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for Gaza and Lebanon.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif repeated his appeal for donation and urged the nation especially the wealthy people to actively donate to the Prime Minister’s relief fund for Gaza and Lebanon.
The meeting was apprised that Pakistan is sending tents, clothes, blankets, medicines and food items to people affected by Israeli aggression in Gaza and Lebanon.

Because of Israeli assaults and hurdles, there are complications in delivering the supplies to the war-hit areas in Palestine and Lebanon, the meeting was told.
It was decided that the NGOs who want to send relief goods for the victims of Gaza and Lebanon will be facilitated by the government.
