Islamabad, (TDI): As China celebrates its 75th founding anniversary on Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended his warmest congratulations to President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and the people of China.
This milestone commemorates the formal proclamation of the People’s Republic of China by Mao Zedong on October 1, 1949.
In a message shared on his X account, Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed pride in China’s remarkable progress and achievements under President Xi’s visionary leadership.
He acknowledged the deep-rooted ties between Pakistan and China, referring to the two nations as “iron brothers.”
“Our All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership continues to grow from strength to strength,” he noted, highlighting the unwavering commitment both nations share towards the success of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The Prime Minister emphasized the significance of CPEC as a transformative initiative that not only benefits Pakistan and China but also contributes to regional connectivity and economic growth.
