Islamabad (TDI): Russian Embassy in Islamabad celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War alongside the envoys and ambassadors of Central Asian countries, Azerbaijan, and Belarus, on May 9.
An extensive celebration included a parade, a concert, and planting of trees as part of the international campaign “Garden of Memory.”
Russia deeply values the victory it achieved as the former Soviet Union fought against Germany in the World War II’s Great Patriotic War, and came out victorious.
The Embassy celebrated the occasion with the former Soviet Republics, which are now independent states of Central Asia.
