Islamabad July 17, 2021 (TDI): The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi gifted boxes of mangoes to the Embassy of Belgium in Pakistan. This generous gesture was part of Pakistan’s mango diplomacy.
The Embassy of Belgium expressed its gratitude to the President. Appreciating the gift it tweeted that the mangoes are “absolutely delicious”.
Known as the “King of Fruits”, mangoes are the national fruit of Pakistan. The country is famous for producing a wide variety of juicy and mouth-watering mangoes. Even during the dire times of the global pandemic COVID-19, Pakistan has successfully spread the message of hope, peace, and positivity through its mango diplomacy to the world.
