Washington (TDI): Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, extended greetings to the American people on the occasion of Thanksgiving, a national holiday in the United States commemorating the harvest season and blessings of the past year.
In a message released by the Pakistani embassy on Thursday, Ambassador Sheikh said, “Thanksgiving is a celebration of gratitude for Divine blessings, a remarkable tradition of American society that could inspire similar expressions in other parts of the world.”

He acknowledged the significant contributions of the Pakistani-American community, highlighting their role in the US political, economic, and social spheres, as well as their efforts in strengthening Pakistan-US ties.
Congratulating Pakistani-Americans on the occasion, Ambassador Sheikh expressed hope for the continued growth of bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United States in the coming years.
