Islamabad, 21 November 2021 (TDI): Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has promised to fully facilitate the Chinese investors in Pakistan. He made this commitment in his meeting with Chen Yan, who was leading a Chinese business delegation.
Energy Minister Muhammad Hammad Azhar, Adviser on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill, SAPM on CPEC Affairs Khalid Mansoor, and Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong also attended the meeting. The meeting was held on Saturday, 20 November 2021 in Prime Minister’s Office in Islamabad.

Imran Khan has directed the concerned authorities to resolve all the obstacles surrounding Chinese investors. He directed the authorities to solve the problems of road connectivity. Pakistani Prime Minister stated that Chinese businesses in Pakistan are the Pakistani top priority. He expressed gratitude to the Chinese investors for investing in Special Economic Zones (SEZs).
Imran Khan was also addressed about the Chinese investors were ready to start work in the fields of glass, ceramics, and IT. He was excited about the news and stated that it would help Pakistan in its exports.
OPPO Company to establish a manufacturing unit in Pakistan
He was also delighted about the news of OPPO Company. OPPO announced to establish a manufacturing unit in Pakistan. It will also establish a research and development unit in Pakistan. Therefore, the OPPO mobile phones will be manufactured in Pakistan.
It will help to create new employment opportunities in Pakistan. Pakistani economy will also be improved by the establishment of the OPPO manufacturing unit.
Pakistani Prime Minister also highlighted the valuable relationship between the people of the two sides. He emphasized that the two states will strengthen their cooperation to improve the livelihood of the people.
Pakistan and China are iron-clad friends. The countries have a history of helping each other in hard times. China has launched a multi-billion dollars development project in Pakistan commonly known as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor for the economic development of Pakistan. This project has greatly helped Pakistan in creating job opportunities and improving its social and economic development. This is why the Pakistani Prime Minister wants to facilitate the Chinese investors in Pakistan.
