London, 24 November 2023 (TDI): The High Commissioner of Pakistan in the United Kingdom, Dr. Muhammad Faisal, on Friday presented his credentials to His Majesty King Charles III at a ceremony held at Buckingham Palace.
Dr. Muhammad Fasial assumed his office as the High Commissioner of Pakistan to the United Kingdom earlier this year in August. He succeeded Moazzam Ahmad Khan as the new High Commissioner.
High Commissioner Dr. Faisal and his Spouse, Dr. Sarah Naeem, were escorted to Buckingham Palace in a state carriage by the Vice Marshal of the Diplomatic Crops from the Pakistan High Commission in London.
During the formal ceremony at Buckingham Palace, the High Commissioner of Pakistan, Dr. Faisal presented his letter of credence to King Charles III.
During his meeting with King Charles III, the High Commissioner conveyed the Greetings and best wishes from the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, and Interim Prime Minister, Anwar-Ul-Haq Kakar to the King.
The High Commissioner communicated that the people of Pakistan held His Majesty in high esteem and cherished the fond memories of his earlier visit to Pakistan.
Dr. Faisal expressed his resolve to continue working for further strengthening of the bilateral relations and cooperation between Pakistan and United Kingdom.
During the ceremony, His Majesty King Charles III, welcomed the High Commissioner and his spouse at the Buckingham Palace and extended good wishes for the leadership and the people of Pakistan.

Dr. Muhammad Faisal joined the Foreign Services of Pakistan in 1995 and has held many positions. He has a diplomatic career experience of three decades in the Foreign Services of Pakistan.
Prior to assuming charge as the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom, he was serving as the Ambassador of Pakistan in Germany, Dr. Faisal is poised to contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
