Astana, 2 October 2023 (TDI): The Pakistani artists represented Pakistan at the Alem Saz International Music Festival held on October 1, in Astana.
The rich art, culture, and music of Pakistan were presented through holding art exhibitions, musical performances, and screening of Pakistani films at the Alem Saz Intl Music Festival.
Two Pakistani singers performed at the Kazakhstan Central Concert Hall in Astana, including Rosemary Mushtaq, and Jabar Abbas.
Besides that, two Pakistani movies were screened, among which “Parwaaz Hai Junoon” was the one.
An Art Exhibition was also inaugurated by the Ambassador of Pakistan to Kazakhstan, Nauman Bashir Bhatti at the Alem Saz International Music Festival to pay tribute to the legendary artist of Pakistan, Syed Sadequain Ahmed Naqvi by exhibiting the printed copies of his art work.
Apart from the Pakistani artists, the best artists from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Japan, Hungary, Germany, Spain, and Russia also came to Astana to participate in the Alem Saz International Festival.
The Festival was held for the second time this year, that aimed to promote masterpieces of spiritual heritage and unite different national cultures.
The rich program includes concerts, musical collaborations, master classes, and film screenings, which will continue until October 3.
Last year, it was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and 76 countries.

The Alem Saz International Music Festival at the start was opened by a duo of Spanish musicians including pianist, Gito Maleta, and guitarist, Amos Lora
The Spanish guitarist, Amos Lora while speaking about the Festival stated, “We are very excited to be part of this festival. I am delighted with your architecture, a mixture of styles in the city and I am very pleased to receive such a warm welcome. I like the sound of the Kazakh dombra, thus, I would like to become more familiar with the national instruments of Kazakhstan.”
