Kabul, 15 August 2021 (TDI): Pakistani Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmed Khan praised the efforts of Pakistani officials in Kabul for their courage and support to the Pakistani and Afghan nationals residing in Kabul.
The situation in Afghanistan is mercurial. Rapid changes are taking place with every passing hour. Taliban have entered the Afghanistan capital Kabul. Both sides have agreed on a transitional government to maintain peace in the country. Foreign countries have called on the embassies to wind down their offices and send back the officers and diplomats keeping in view the unpredictable situation of the country. Pakistani Embassy members in Kabul have been supporting and offering security to not only Pakistani nationals but also Afghan nationals, foreigners since the escalation of turbulence in the country.
The Ambassador commended their efforts and shored up their spirits and morals through a text message via his Twitter account.
