Embassy of Pakistan in Amman, Jordan briefs business community on Roshan Digital accounts and promote bilateral trade.

Amman, 30 October 2021 (TDI): A seminar was organized on ‘Roshan Digital Accounts’ at the Embassy of Pakistan in Amman. The seminar involved talks about trade and investment opportunities in Pakistan in Islamabad. The seminar was also about the benefits of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor for leading the Jordanian community.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Jordan, Sajjad Ali Khan briefed the participants about the business opportunities in Pakistan. He deliberated on Pakistan’s willingness to facilitate bilateral trade relations. He assured the participants of Pakistan’s interest in expanding and strengthening the trade between Pakistan and Jordan.

Ambassador Sajjad Ali Khan discussed the issues of bilateral trade extensively. The meeting was characterized by proposals made by the ambassador and looking for a way forward to bilateral trade. Ambassador presented a detailed presentation on Roshan Digital Accounts to attract Jordanian Investors.

Pakistan and Jordan established bilateral relations in the 1970s. The two countries are members of the G-11 group and can coordinate to increase bilateral trade. The two countries in the retrospect have attempts of forging ties to develop bilateral trade.
