Pakistan Wishes Belize its 40th Independence Day

Islamabad, 21 September 2021 (TDI): Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan conveyed the wishes of Pakistan to the people of Belize on Belize’s 40th Independence day on Tuesday.

Belize got its independence on 21 September 1981 from Great Britain and introduced an independence constitution. The country’s name was changed on 1st June 1973, from British Honduras to Belize.

Belize and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan established diplomatic relations on 23 October 2015, by signings a Joint Communiqué. Both countries affirmed to foster and strengthen bilateral relations through diplomacy and cooperation.
