ISLAMABAD, September 6,2024 (DTI): On Friday, Pakistan and Turkiye have decided to augment collaboration in different areas including counter-terrorism, police, and civil armed forces as well as to increase the number of flights between Pakistan and Turkey.
During a meeting between Turkish Ambassador Dr. Mehmet Pacaci and Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi at Islamabad agreed to further improve cooperation between the countries in various sectors.
Condemning the recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan, Turkish ambassador said that that Turkiye had also faced terrorism in the past but had controlled it and now the situation is good.

He assured Pakistan’s Interior Minister of Turkiye’s full cooperation in counter-terrorism efforts.
Naqvi said that Pakistan has rendered huge sacrifices in the war against terrorism. He said that the Pakistan’s Army, Police, Rangers, Frontier Constabulary (FC), and every section of the society has made sacrifices.
Naqvi will welcome Turkiye’s cooperation in counter-terrorism.
The Interior Minister said that he conduct visit of Turkiye in October on the invitation of the Turkish Government and will suggest steps improve bilateral cooperation between the two countries’.
He said that Pakistan wants to further strengthen its brotherly relations with Turkiye.
