Lahore (TDI): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday announced a 15-member squad for the Test between Pakistan and England scheduled to take place from October 7 to 11 in Multan.
In a statement today, the cricket board said it had withdrawn the selected players from the ongoing Champions One-Day Cup playoffs.

Pakistan’s red-ball head coach Jason Gillespie said the management wanted to give players some rest ahead of the Test series against England.
“We are very much looking forward to the series against England here in Pakistan and cannot wait for it to begin. We are excited about playing in front of our wonderful supporters.”
The head coach added that the 15-man squad will assemble in Multan on Monday, September 30 with the training camp starting on October 1.

Shan Masood (captain), Saud Shakeel (vice-captain), Aamir Jamal, Abdullah Shafique, Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Huraira, Mohammad Rizwan (wicket-keeper), Naseem Shah, Noman Ali, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wicket-keeper), and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
