Moscow (TDI): Pakistan and Russia have expressed optimism about enhancing bilateral connectivity, a move seen as beneficial not only for both countries but for the wider region.
The Federal Minister for Energy, Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, met with Russian Minister for Transport Roman Starovoyt during his visit to Moscow, where he is co-chairing the 9th session of the Pakistan-Russia Intergovernmental Commission (IGC).

During the meeting, the ministers reviewed ongoing collaboration in the transport sector, including road, rail, and air connectivity projects.
Pakistan-Russia Cooperation
Minister Leghari praised the deepening cooperation between Pakistan and Russia and extended an invitation to his Russian counterpart to visit Pakistan.
Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening ties and agreed to maintain regular communication to advance mutual goals.
