Pakistan, Qatar Pledge to Enhance Cooperation in Education

Islamabad (TDI): Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, Wajiha Qamar, met with Ali Al Khater, Ambassador of Qatar to Pakistan, at the Qatar Embassy following her participation in WISE 12 in Doha.

The minister conveyed her heartfelt thanks to Lolwa Al-Khater for the warm hospitality and the opportunity to take part in high-level discussions on innovation, inclusion, and forward-looking education.

During the meeting, Wajiha Qamar shared key insights from WISE 12 and highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to advancing quality education, skills development, and international collaboration.

Both sides reaffirmed their determination to strengthen Pakistan–Qatar cooperation in education, professional training, academic exchanges, and youth development.

The meeting also reflected the strong brotherly ties between the two countries and underscored a shared vision for knowledge-sharing, institutional partnerships, and human capital development to benefit future generations.

Pakistan and Qatar share longstanding diplomatic, economic, and cultural relations. Over the years, the two countries have strengthened ties through trade, investment, and strategic partnerships in areas such as energy, infrastructure, and finance.

The countries have also collaborated closely on regional and international issues, reflecting a shared commitment to stability, development, and mutual support. High-level visits and dialogue have been central to maintaining and expanding these multifaceted relations.
