Islamabad, 17 January 2022 (TDI): Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad met Commander of Royal Navy of Oman. He and Rear Admiral Saif Bin Nasser joined in a meeting at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad.
Arrival of Commander of Royal Navy of Oman
Upon the arrival of the dignitary, the Chief of the Naval Staff received the Commander of Royal Navy of Oman himself. Guard of honor was presented to the Commander of Royal Navy by a contingent of the Pakistan Navy. Later he was introduced to
Principal Staff Officers at the Naval headquarters as well.

Matters discussed during the meeting
The dignitaries discussed a vast of topics. Especially those of mutual interest for both nations. For example, the security situation of the region is the top priority. In addition to the scope of military cooperation including the defense and training between the two.
Besides that, the Chief of the Naval Staff of Pakistan underscored the initiatives taken by Pakistan Navy to ensure peace in the region. About the initiatives, he lighted shed upon the Regional Maritime Security Patrols. Mainly about the role, task, and operational capabilities of the Pakistan Navy to ensure a longstanding peace within its allies.
By the end of the meeting Commander of Royal Navy of Oman, Rear Admiral Saif Bin Nasser Bin Mohsin Al Rahbi commended the role of the Pakistan Navy in the security of the region. In this regard, the visit proves to be beneficial for the two countries in general and the Naval forces of the two countries in particular.
