Islamabad (TDI): Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan Akamatsu Shuichi on Monday called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House.
During the meeting, the premier recalled friendly ties between Pakistan and Japan, which he said, was evident from the goodwill towards each other.

PM Shehbaz thanked Japan for supporting Pakistan on the economic and industrial fronts and expressed a desire to further strengthen mutual trade and investment cooperation.

Ambassador Akamatsu Shuichi reaffirmed his country’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s development goals and promoting bilateral cooperation in various fields.

The ambassador noted that Japan marked 70 years of providing Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) to Pakistan last year.
He emphasized Japan’s commitment to continuing its partnership in Pakistan’s development.
