Pakistan-Russian relations
The Soviet Union and Pakistan first established diplomatic and bilateral relations on May 1, 1948. The relations have seen many ups and downs.
Both Russia and Pakistan have been seeking to give their relationship substance for years. A Defense Cooperation Agreement was formed in 2014, and this action was followed by joint exercises and military exchanges.
