Glasgow, 3 November 201 (TDI): A meeting between Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Climate Change, Malik Amin Attock, and Germany’s Parliamentary State Secretary for Development Aid, Dr. Maria Flachsbarth held in Glasgow.
Pakistan and Germany decide to launch Pak-German Climate & Energy Initiative to further common climate goals.
SAPM Malik informed that Germany has announced €150 million in pursuance of climate agreement between Pakistan and Germany. Germany has agreed to assist and partner Pakistan in Clean Energy development and nature based solutions.

Both countries are participating in the ongoing COP26 Summit in Glasgow. SAPM Amin is representing Pakistan in the Conference. He briefed the world leaders about Pakistan’s climate action.
