Bangkok, 19 May 2023 (TDI): The Future Energy Asia Exhibition and Summit provided a gateway to the region’s most important energy transition opportunities.
It was held in Bangkok from 17-19 May. Future Mobility Asia and Future Energy Asia collaborated for Future Energy Asia Exhibition and Summit.
Federal Minister for Energy, Engr Khurram Dastagir, and senior representatives of the Ministry of Energy, BOI, and Government of Sindh participated in the Future Energy Asia Conference.
The Government of Pakistan, along with USAID LAC, were the gold sponsors. The FEA appreciated the support and partnership of the gold sponsors. FEA also said that their efforts in driving the transition towards a sustainable energy future are invaluable.
Pakistan’s Board of Investment, Director General Nadeem Bashir, highlighted clean energy transition opportunities in Pakistan. He also informed about incentives available to the private sector developers in clean energy.

Several international companies are planning to visit Pakistan and have shown interest in working. Pakistan’s residential and commercial energy needs are rising rapidly. Pakistan has urbanization reaching over 40% with a population of 230 million.
At the summit, clean carbon capture technology solutions were highlighted. Different speakers at the event discussed energy storage projects and different ways to scale renewable projects.
The energy industry CEOs gave valuable insights on regulatory climate, success factors, and new partnership models for renewable deployment.
Eduardo Karlin, GM of APAC, Julia Souder, CEO of Long Duration Energy Council, and Andrew Waite, Director, Sales and Business Development, Southeast Asia, Babcock and Wilcox, discussed useful insights.
The Industry leaders engaged in meaningful discussions, exchanged ideas, shared knowledge, and build relationships with attendees.
