75th Independence Day of Pakistan
The 75th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated on August 14, 2021. It marked the 75th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence from British colonial rule in 1947.
The day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor throughout the country. Other than celebrations in Pakistan Embassy in Beijing, the main event was held in the capital city of Islamabad, where the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan hoisted the national flag at the Parliament House.
Various cultural programs, parades, and other events were held across the country to celebrate the day. The theme of this year’s Independence Day was “Kashmir Solidarity Day,” highlighting Pakistan’s support for the people of Indian-administered Kashmir in their struggle for self-determination.
The day was also an occasion to pay tribute to the sacrifices made by the country’s founding fathers and to recognize the contributions of Pakistan’s armed forces in defending the country’s sovereignty.
