Islamabad, 2 February 2022 (TDI): Pakistan’s Minister for Information, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that Pakistan and Egypt enjoy incredibly strong relations. He gave the before-mentioned remarks while he was in a meeting with the Ambassador of Egypt to Pakistan Doctor Tarek Dahroug, on Wednesday in Islamabad.

While having a conversation with the Egyptian Ambassador to Pakistan, Doctor Tarek Dahroug, the Minister for Information Chaudhry Fawad Hussain shed light on other matters too.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain stated that the masses of both countries are united over various factors. To be precise three main factors were mentioned. Religion, culture, and the existing brotherly relationship.

Cultural heritage was specifically talked about. The potential and resources associated with it were emphasized. In this regard, the two dignitaries also agreed upon the establishment, of dubbing centers.

The purpose of these centers would be to translate the films, movies, and dramas. By doing so they will be understandable for both nations.

Not only that but various other areas and sectors of mutual interests were underscored.
Drama, film, regional, and international situations were among the few topics that were highlighted.

Earlier attempts in the same year to strengthen bilateral relations

Apart from the earlier mentioned meeting, steps are also being taken in Egypt to deepen the ties between the two countries. In the previous month, on 31 January 2022, Pakistan Embassy in Egypt took to its official Twitter account to inform about a significant meeting.

The meeting was between Ambassador Sajid Bilal and the President of Al Azhar University Professor Doctor Muhammed Hussain Al Mahrasawi. The venue of the meeting was Al Azhar University, Cairo.

Basically, Sajid Bilal paid a visit to the university and during the visit, he met the President and had discussions. The discussion was about how to further strengthen the already existing partnership between Al Azhar University and the universities of Pakistan.
