Pakistan, China Vow to Expand Cooperation Across Multiple Sectors

Islamabad (TDI): Pakistan and China reaffirmed their resolve to deepen cooperation in a wide range of areas, as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi co-chaired the sixth round of the Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue.

During the talks, both sides reviewed the full spectrum of bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and global developments.

Discussions covered the next phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC 2.0), trade and economic ties, multilateral engagement, as well as people-to-people exchanges.

Emphasizing the “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership,” the two foreign ministers described Pakistan-China friendship as vital for regional peace and stability, and indispensable for the progress and prosperity of both nations.

They further agreed to maintain close coordination and regular communication at the bilateral level and in multilateral forums.
