RAWALPINDI, (TDI): On Tuesday, S. M. Kamrul Hassan, Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division of Bangladesh, held a comprehensive meeting with Pakistan’s Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza at the Joint Staff Headquarters (JSHQ) in Rawalpindi.
A press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the discussions centered on matters of mutual strategic interest and explored ways to strengthen bilateral defense cooperation between the two countries.
Both sides emphasized the importance of fortifying military ties and reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the partnership remains unaffected by external challenges.

General Mirza and Lieutenant General Kamrul Hassan also underscored the significance of continued collaboration to promote regional peace, security, and stability.
They reaffirmed that both nations share a common vision for a secure and prosperous future, built upon strong defense cooperation.

During the meeting, Lieutenant General Kamrul Hassan, along with his delegation, praised the professionalism of Pakistan’s Armed Forces and expressed admiration for their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, recognizing the resilience and dedication demonstrated by the forces.
