Islamabad (TDI): Asif Ali Zardari, the President of Pakistan, has extended warm felicitations to the President of the Mauritius, Dharambeer Gokhool, as well as to the government and people of Mauritius on the occasion of their National Day.
In his message, President Zardari highlighted the longstanding cordial relations between Pakistan and Mauritius, noting that the ties are characterized by mutual trust, goodwill and constructive cooperation.
He emphasized that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relationship with Mauritius and values the continued engagement between the leadership of the two countries.
The President observed that interactions between the two nations have steadily grown in recent years, both at the bilateral level and in multilateral forums. He described the expanding cooperation as a positive sign of the strong foundation that underpins relations between the two friendly countries.
