Dushanbe (TDI): The Embassy of Pakistan in Tajikistan hosted the National Day celebrations, which were attended by Tajikistan’s officials as well as the diplomatic staff of various other countries in the capital.
Notable presence included the Ambassadors of Saudi Arabia and Turkey in Tajikistan, while the country’s Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Zoghi Zoghizadeh, was the guest of honor.
Umut Acar, Turkey’s Ambassador to Tajikistan , posted on X about the event, “Celebrating friendly and brotherly Pakistan’s National Day in Dushanbe.”
Saudi Embassy in Tajikistan also posted about the participation of its Ambassador, Waleed bin Abdulrahman Al-Rashidan, in the event.
Pakistan’s embassies around the world are hosting National Day celebrations, which is observed on March 23rd every year.

Earlier, Pakistan Ambassador to Tajikistan attended an International Conference titled Contribution of Tajikistan to implementation of SDGs and Green Diplomacy, organized by Research Institute for Sustainable Development and Green Economy, in Dushanbe.
Tajikistan is Pakistan’s closest Central Asian neighbor, separated only by a narrow fourteen kilometers Wakhan strip.
Most recently, Pakistan and Tajikistan have achieved a 62% increase in their trade.
Last year, in September, Zavqi Zavqizoda, met with Pakistan’s Minister of Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, at the 23rd Shanghai Cooperation Organization, held in Islamabad.
