The book offers diverse perspectives and explores the complex relationship people have with their homeland.
During the panel discussions, speakers emphasized the depth of emotions Pakistani writers, particularly those based abroad, hold for their country.
They noted that Pakistan, a nation of over 240 million people speaking 70-80 languages and home to a rich cultural and natural diversity, cannot be fully encapsulated by news headlines or breaking news tickers. Instead, the book offers a nuanced portrayal, reflecting stories of belonging, affection, and resilience.
Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi extended his gratitude to all participants and lauded the panelists for their contributions to this important literary work. He remarked that the book offers readers a unique opportunity to witness the personal narratives that often remain unseen.
