Islamabad (TDI): Pakistan has secured a place among the regional contenders in the TikTok Ad Awards for the Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, Pakistan, and South Asia, scheduled for December in Riyadh.
The upcoming awards will be the second edition of the TikTok’s regional ad competition. The platform’s regional teams will spotlight creative advertising campaigns and celebrate brands and agencies that have harnessed the medium’s cultural and business potential.
Securing a place reflects Pakistan’s growing footprint in digital advertising and TikTok’s expanding influence in the country’s creative ecosystem. Specific Pakistani campaigns or agencies have not been named yet, but their inclusion highlights the country’s momentum in digital media strategies.
Building on the success of last year’s debut, this year’s event features nine award categories, including:
“It’s the Creative for Me,” recognizing campaigns crafted specifically for TikTok’s format
“Sound On Please,” celebrating impactful use of audio
Others likely honoring budget-conscious creativity, collaboration with creators, and user-driven campaigns

In Pakistan, the digital landscape is rapidly evolving and social media platforms like TikTok have changed from entertainment outlets into significant platforms for advertising, entrepreneurship, and cultural expression. If Pakistan wins the award, the recognition will boost local creative industries and cultural storytelling.
TikTok’s decision to hold the awards in Riyadh also positions Saudi Arabia as a regional hub for digital media and entertainment innovation.
Pakistan has tens of millions of TikTok users, the latest number being 66.9 million. This means that startups and businesses view Tiktok as an attractive market where they can sell their product or service.
The app is equally popular among strategic users as it is for entertainment-seeking people. From news media to individual influencers, TikTok is an integral app for Pakistanis.
