New York (TDI): On February 13, at the illustrious Edison Ballroom during the New York Fashion Week, Omar Mansoor unveiled his Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, Transformative Teal, a meditation on climate resilience expressed through color, craftsmanship, and conscious luxury.
In a moment when diplomacy and design increasingly share common ground, Mansoor’s collection spoke directly to the global dialogue surrounding environmental responsibility.
At its heart stood Transformative Teal, a refined convergence of blue and green, evoking the delicate meeting point of ocean and land. More than a seasonal hue, teal emerged as rhetoric in color: a visual articulation of balance, regeneration and adaptive resilience in an era defined by climate urgency.
The collection subtly aligns with the principles of United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action, which urges urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts by strengthening resilience to climate-related hazards.
In this context, Transformative Teal functions as both aesthetic and advocacy; a chromatic reflection of environmental transition and collective responsibility.

The capsule collection featured knee-length to full-length silhouettes rendered exclusively in sustainable pure silks. Ethereal chiffons and georgettes moved with tidal fluidity, counterbalanced by the structural integrity of raw silk. The interplay between movement and form mirrored nature’s own equilibrium; fragility strengthened by design.
Hand-embroidered jackets and gowns traced organic florals and tidal motifs, reinforcing the dialogue between land and sea. Outerwear, from cropped silhouettes to knee-length coats, was paired with tailored trousers and midi dresses, offering a refined yet pragmatic wardrobe for the globally engaged woman.
Embroidery was developed in collaboration with SHAY, under the direction of Shanze Sheikh, working alongside master female artisans in Multan, Pakistan; a historic center of heritage embroidery.
This partnership safeguarded generational craftsmanship while positioning it within a contemporary couture framework, demonstrating how cultural preservation and modern sustainability can coexist with elegance.
With Transformative Teal, Mansoor advances a vision of responsible luxury attuned to the diplomatic, environmental and cultural conversations shaping our time. The collection affirms that fashion, when guided by purpose, can participate meaningfully in the global call for resilience.
