Muscat, 4 July 2022 (TDI): Oman Air, the national airline of Oman, and Turkish Technic, a leading provider of technical services, have signed a 10-year service exchange contract.
The ten-year component pool and advance exchange program contract is signed for the airline’s fleet of Boeing 737 MAX family and Boeing B737 Next Generation.
Turkish Technic is one of the leading providers of services and solutions for commercial airlines and private jets. Under the terms of the agreement, the repair and overhaul provider (MRO), Turkish Technic, will provide services to Oman’s air fleet.
The services include component pool, component maintenance, and advance exchange of services. These services will exclusively be provided to Oman’s Air Boeing B737 Next Generation and Boeing 737 MAX family.
Turkish Technic holds decades of experience in component maintenance and services for airlines and jets. Oman Air can immensely benefit from this multi-year contract.

Increased Cooperation
Chief Operating Officer of Oman Air, Captain Nasser Ahmed Al Salmi, expressed his delight at the signing of the agreement. He said, “We are pleased to entrust the leading trademark, Turkish Technic, with the maintenance of our aircraft.
We put our confidence in the globally recognized services provided by Turkish Technic. The services to be provided by Turkish Technic were selected as being the ideal solutions for Oman Air Oman’s air fleet.”

Turkish Technic, incorporated in 2006, has supported the maintenance activities of aircraft operators around the world. It has also provided component pooling, design and production services globally.
Oman Air, inaugurated in 1993, is the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman. It has been provided with a five-star ranking by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) in 2021 and 2022 for its Covid-19 safety rankings.
