Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Monday that no one would be allowed to create unrest and sabotage the country’s stabilizing economy.
He made these remarks while chairing a high-level meeting to review the law and order situation.
The premier instructed authorities to expedite action against those responsible for recent riots, vandalism, and damage to public and private property in Islamabad.

PM Shehbaz urged authorities to identify instigators and collect concrete evidence against them. He instructed the task force responsible for countering unrest to be provided with all necessary resources.
The premier ordered the federal prosecution service to be placed under the Ministry of Law and directed the swift completion of Islamabad’s new jail. He also instructed the immediate release of funds for the project.

Officials briefed the meeting on measures taken to maintain peace in Islamabad. They informed the meeting that the Safe City initiative is being expanded, with an increase in the number of cameras. The new Islamabad jail is expected to be completed by March next year.
The meeting was attended by federal ministers, including Ahsan Iqbal, Mohsin Raza Naqvi, and Azam Nazeer Tarar. Minister of State Shaza Fatima, PM’s advisors Rana Sanaullah and Rana Ehsan Afzal, and senior government officials were also present.
