Moroni: July 2, 2021 –(TDI): The 3rd batch of Chinese vaccines arrived in Moroni at the Moroni International Airport, Comoros.
Wu Peng the Director-General, Department of African Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, China took over Twitter and shared the news of the arrival of Chinese Vaccines to the small African nation of Comoros.
In response to Wu’s tweet, the Chinese Ambassador to UN Zhang Jun retweeted the tweet and called out vaccine transmission as an encouraging step by China. “The need for rapid vaccination in Africa is becoming more and more important, there is no time to waste”, the UN ambassador stated.
China has stood strong with the developing African nations in their fight against COVID. China has stood strong with Comoros. Previously China sent a medical team and medical supplies to Comoros to help it fight against COVID.
