Netherlands vs Pakistan

Rotterdam, 16 August 2022 (TDI): The first One-day International (ODI) match between cricket teams of Pakistan and the Netherlands will be played today in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

There will be a total of three ODIs played between both teams. The first of the three ODIs will be played today at VOC Cricket Ground Rotterdam at 2 PM (PST) and 11 AM (CET).

Pakistan Squad

The Pakistan squad will be led by Captain Babar Azam. The squad includes Shadab Khan (VC), Muhammad Rizwan (WK), Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shahnawaz Dahani, Imam-ul-Haq, Zahid Mahmood, and Mohammad Nawaz.

Other players are Haris Rauf, Agha Salman, Abdullah Shafique, Khushdil Shah, Naseem Shah, and Mohammad Wasim. Muhammad Haris will be a reserved Wicket Keeper.

Netherlands Squad

The Netherlands squad will be led by Captain and Wicket Keeper Scott Edwards. The squad includes  Musa Ahmad,  Shariz Ahmad,  Wesley Barresi, Logan van Beek, Tom Cooper, Aryan Dutt, Arnav Jain, and Viv Kingma.

Some other players are Ryan Klein, Bas de Leede, Teja Nidamanuru, Tim Pringle, Max O’Dowd, and Vikram Singh.

Pakistan Cricket team will be led by Babar Azam who is the top ODI and T20I batsman in the world. Imam-ul-Haq is the number 2 ODI batsman in the world and Muhammad Rizwan is the number 2 T20I batsman in the world.

Pakistan Cricket team is ranked the number 4 ODI cricket team in the world and Netherlands is at number 15. In T20Is, Pakistan holds the number 3 position in the world while the Netherlands is at the number 18 position.

The second and third cricket matches will be played on 18 and 21 August respectively at the same cricket ground.

The Pakistan-Netherlands series is right before the Asia Cup. Pakistan Cricket team will fly to UAE right after the conclusion of this series.
