Canada, 7 August 2021 (TDI): On Friday, Foreign Minister of Canada, Marc Garneau joined the 28th regional forum of ASEAN through a video link. Garneau said, “as a Pacific nation, we are committed to working with all partners to support the rules-based international order and maintain peace and security across our shared region.”
Garneau further said that Canada is still in support of; global fight against COVID 19, resolution of the crises in Myanmar, rules-based order in the South China Sea, basic law in Hong Kong, and Peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.
