Islamabad, 2 September 2024 (TDI): An even more customized interaction experience will be offered by WhatsApp when it launches a feature that enables users select the voice of Meta AI.
Users can choose from a variety of voice options to fit their preferences with this functionality, which is presently in beta testing with the most recent Android 2.24.18.18 upgrade.
The goal of this update is to improve hands-free communication within the app by adding a voice chat option for Meta AI. In order to provide a quicker and more natural alternative to typing, the feature is designed to enable real-time voice interactions.
To make it simpler to start discussions with Meta AI, WhatsApp is now testing a shortcut to enable this voice chat mode straight from the chats list.
While privacy and control are guaranteed by visual cues in the status bar, users will be able to manually enable or disable the mode.

A future version will likely include the voice chat capability, which is currently in development. As further information becomes available, it will be disclosed.
