Washington: July 16, 2021 – (TDI): The Secretary of the United States Antony J. Blinken called on the Minister of Foreign affairs of Chile, Andres Allamand. Both officials exchanged views about their continuous collaboration in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, promotion of economic partnership, and expansion of environmental cooperation. The US Secretary appreciated Chile’s multiple efforts in the advocacy of environmental justice and climate activity. They reiterated the significance of promoting bilateral and multilateral partnerships to counter the mutual challenges of the Hemisphere and to advocate for democracy in the region.
