Kuala Lumpur, 26 August 2021 (TDI): The Senior Officials of Malaysia and Australia held a meeting on August 25. The talks were co-chaired by Secretary-General Dato Sri, along with his counterpart Kathryn Campbell.
The two sides discussed their opinions on topics of mutual interest such as that relevant to bilateral as well as regional relations. This included the successful implementation of initiatives and programs that are part of the framework of Malaysia-Australia Strategic Comprehensive Cooperation (CSP), areas of investment, science, technology, health, trade and post-pandemic collaboration, security issues, ASEAN-Australian relations, and the issue of Rohingya people. The two countries agreed to cooperate further in order to strengthen their bilateral ties at different levels.
