Mayor Watson declares August 2021 as Pakistan Heritage Month


Ottawa, 2 August 2021 (TDI): The Mayor of the City of Ottawa, Jim Watson declared August 2021 as Pakistan Heritage Month.

The purpose of this declaration is to provide Pakistani-Canadians with an opportunity to promote the culture, food, tourism, and products of Pakistan.

A community-based non-profit organization, Salam Pakistan Canada also aims at using this opportunity to bridge the gaps between cultures, and communities, and to promote positivity and acceptance for all.
