Guangzhou (TDI): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that China always supported Pakistan.
Maryam Nawaz was warmly welcomed on her arrival in Guangzhou during her week-long visit to China.
She held an important meeting with Guangzhou Vice-Governor Zheng Guozhi.
A state dinner was also arranged for her delegation.
Maryam Nawaz said that she will never forget the hospitality and warm welcome received in China.
She added that there was a strong bond between the people of the two countries.

The chief minister said that she learnt a lot during her visit and the people of Punjab will definitely get benefit from this tour.
Guangzhou’s Vice-Governor Zheng Guozhi also commended the initiatives of Maryam Nawaz Sharif for Punjab.
Earlier, Maryam Nawaz had proposed to set up a joint working group with China to eliminate environmental pollution in Punjab.

Maryam Nawaz, while addressing a special meeting on climate change and environment in Shanghai said that when she arrived in China after 32 years, she saw a new country, which people call a modern miracle of present time.
She said that China has completely changed and its development is a beacon for Pakistan and other developing nations around the world.
