New York, 23 September 2021 (TDI): The Head of Libya’s Presidential Council, Mohamed al-Menfi, met with Abdullah Shahid, the Maldivian Foreign Minister and the Chairman of the session of the 76th UN General Assembly held in New York, on Tuesday. On the occasion, both exchanged their views about the security of Libya and the cooperation development between Libya’s executive bodies and the UN General Assembly.
The Libyan Presidential Council source has unveiled that Mohamed al-Menfi will also hold talks with Foreign Ministers of other Arab and West countries in the entire week to discuss cooperation in all fields.
In the remarks, Abdullah Shahid emboldened the efforts led by Mohamed al-Menfi in Libya to achieve peace and stability.
