Beirut, 18 September 2021 (TDI): Lebanon’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdullah Bu Habib met with the Ambassador of Jordan to Lebanon, Walid Al-Hadid on Friday.
The issue of importing Jordanian electricity and Egyptian gas came under discussion. Aside from that, the reactivation of a joint higher committee between the two states was also discussed.
Lebanon and Jordan maintain a long-standing friendly and strong relationship. The two countries share comprehensive historic and cultural ties. Lebanon’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants emphasized the need to further strengthen the ties between the two nations.
