Lebanese Foreign Minister receives Ukraine’s Ambassador

Beirut, 29 October 2021 (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdullah Bouhabib, raised with the Ambassador of Ukraine, Ihor Eustache, the enduring of some Lebanese in entering Ukraine, notwithstanding getting visas, and the diplomat vowed to resolve this issue.

They also discussed the economic and reciprocal relations between the two nations. In that sense, the possibility of holding a joint economic council was also addressed. The date is not really defined, but it will take place in the near future.

The Lebanese Minister pointed out the help of Ukraine to overcome the effects of the explosion in the port of Beirut.

On August 19, a freight with medicines and flour traveled to Beirut. Among the medicines were antihemorrhagic and antithrombotic, general sedatives, gauze, careful patches, among others.

The Lebanese Minister and the Ukrainian Ambassador promise their countries will increase joint cooperation for the development of the nations.
