Nur Sultan, 12 October 2021 (TDI): As a part of his role in the 6th meeting of the Foreign Minister of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia, the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Ruslan Kazakbayev held bilateral talks with the Mongolian counterpart, Batmunkhiin Battsetseg.
During the meeting, the two countries’ foreign ministers discussed a wide range of issues related to Kyrgyz-Mongolian cooperation. They shared ideas on how to expand the legal framework and practical engagement of the two nations within international organizations and structures. The Kyrgyz Republic’s Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed gratitude for the UN Human Rights Council’s support for the period 2023-2025. As well as non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for the period 2027-2028.
The parties agreed to arrange frequent meetings to go over specific topics of practical collaboration. Not only in political but also economic areas. Both the leaders exchanged invitations to organize reciprocal official visits at the end of the conference.
