Kyrgyz athlete sets a world record in swimming

Balykchy, 27 August 2021 (TDI):  Vladislav Shuliko from Kyrgyzstan set a world record in swimming through Lake Issyk-Kul. He finished his swim today at 3:26 pm. The diver set a world record by reaching the finish line on the sandy beach “Aliya” in Balykchy city.
The distance that Vladislav Shuliko swam is equal to three thousand six hundred (3600) Olympic swimming pools. The swim ended successfully.
21-year-old Vladislav Shuliko started the marathon on August 22 at 19:30. He covered 180 km from Karakol to Balykchy in 6 days. Issyk-Kul is 182 km long and 58 km wide. The deepest point is 702 meters.
