Astana, 20 December 2022 (TDI): The Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Adil Tursynov met with Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the newly appointed Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States on a bilateral talk.
The two parties met when the Secretary-General visited the country as part of his first working visit. At the meeting, they talked more about the organization and how to move it forward.

The basic agenda of the meeting was for them to look at ways to strengthen bilateral ties. During the meeting, Kubanychbek Omuraliev said that the presence of Kazakhstan as a member of the organization has been a great move & also a contributor to their vision.
Adding that, his plans for the organization as a newly elected General-Secretary is to ensure that the day-to-day activities of the organization are well operated.
The aim to see the organization been one of the best blocs of the region is what he holds in high esteem. He also outlined some of the principles they seek to achieve as an organization and the reason why Kazakhstan is a big player in their vision.
In response the Deputy Foreign Minister, Adil Tursynov congratulated him on his new role. Emphasizing that, he is certain that, the development they all seek in the region will surely be achieved through these initiatives.
Organization of Turkic States
The Organization of Turkic States formerly called the Turkic Council or the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States. It is made up of independent states like Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
The organization seeks to promote unity, peace, and development in all these states. Also, it recognizes the works and economic development of each state and seeks to improve it.
Kazakhstan’s presence in the organization has been a blessing to both parties as they have always upheld the views and mission of the organization high.
