Astana, 25 October 2022 (TDI): The Republic of Kazakhstan received greetings on the celebration of its 32nd Republic Day today. The state adopted the historical declaration regarding State Sovereignty, on 25th October 1990.
This declaration established the political and legal foundations of an Independent & sovereign Kazakhstan. It preserved & strengthened the primary principles of statehood including territorial integrity, indivisibility, national identity, & the development of culture and language.
Message of Greetings from the US
On Republic day, the country received messages of greetings from high officials of various states. Antony Blinken, the Secretary of State of the United States congratulated Kazakhstan by posting a message on his official Twitter account.
He congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on the behalf of US. Republic Day celebrates Kazakhstan’s declaration of independence. The US was the first country to recognize the independent status of Kazakhstan.

Message of Antony Blinken
In his message, the US Secretary of State wrote that the United States is highly committed and dedicated to the sustenance of the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He also wrote that the US intended to develop and promote bilateral relations with Kazakhstan. The Secretary further appreciated the efforts of Kazakhstan in promoting international peace and security.
He wrote that the country has been a supporter of non-proliferation, disarmament, and global dialogue since its independence.
Antony Blinken conveyed that the reform agenda adopted by Kazakhstan is fully recognized and supported by the US and suggested taking concrete and transparent initiatives for the comprehensive implementation of the devised strategy.
He also appreciated the role played by Kazakhstan in advancing shared goals in the region of Central Asia. Antony Blinken hoped for the continuation and advancement of the bilateral partnerships between the two states.
Message of Greeting from Turkiye
The Republic of Turkiye congratulated Kazakhstan on Republic Day. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye posted a message on its official Twitter account.
The message titled Kazakhstan a brotherly and friendly state. The note ended up stating “Long live Turkish-Kazakh friendship.”
