Astana (TDI): Kazakhstan and China have renewed their commitment to strengthening strategic partnership during a high-level meeting held on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Foreign Ministers’ summit in China.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, met with Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, to discuss a broad range of issues covering political, economic, cultural, and regional cooperation, according to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
The two sides discussed a wide range of issues related to Kazakh-Chinese cooperation, including the current state and prospects for interaction in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian fields.

The interlocutors noted the positive dynamics in the development of political dialogue between the two nations. Particular attention was paid to the practical implementation of the deals reached during the meetings of the leaders of Kazakhstan and China, as well as the schedule of upcoming high and top-level events.
Minister Nurtleu emphasized the importance of putting into action the ambitious goals set earlier this year when Kazakhstan hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping.

“Our common responsibility now is to ensure these agreements are translated into concrete results,” he stated.
Talks also explored avenues to expand cooperation in trade, investment, energy, transportation, and transit, reflecting both countries’ shared vision for deeper regional integration.
