Astana, (TDI): The Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Georgia met and discussed key areas of cooperation in Kazakhstan on 6 February 2025.

The Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze is on an official visit to Kazakhstan and during that visit, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, met with Foreign Minister of Georgia, Murat Nurtleu.
In Addition, Kazakhstan and Georgia have expressed their mutual commitment to intensify cooperation within the Middle Corridor framework. According to recent reports, the cargo transshipment volumes have increased significantly at TITR.
Middle Corridor or TITR is a major trade route connecting Europe and China through the South Caucasus and Central Asia, named as the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), it works as a conventional trade route known as the North Corridor (that passes through Russia) and the Southern Corridor (that passes through Iran).

On 5 February 2025, Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. In that meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation issues, with a special focus on developing trade and economic relations.
