Kazakh Ambassador met VC QAU

Islamabad, 3 August 2021 (TDI): On Monday, Qystapa Erjan, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, had a meeting with Dr. Muhammad Ali, Vice-Chancellor of Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) in Islamabad.

The Vice-Chancellor spoke about the rich history and the activities of the University. Both parties talked about collaboration with the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The Vice-Chancellor further indicates an interest in expanding collaboration with Kazakhstani universities. He offered to host a webinar on science and technology research. He affirmed that his university will take part in the upcoming interreligious conference. This conference is being organized by the Embassy in collaboration with the Nursultan Nazarbayev Center and the International Islamic University.

The Kazakh ambassador also emphasized the necessity of creating a direct association between Kazakh and Pakistani universities. This will help in strengthening cooperation at the citizens’ level between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
