Islamabad, 2 August 2021 (TDI): On Monday, Qystapa Erjan, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Kazakhstan, met with Abdul Razak Dawood, the Advisor to Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment, at the office of the Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan praised the “Silk Route Reconnect Policy” of the MOC. Pakistan will give Uzbekistan access to its seaports and beyond as part of MOC’s “Silk Route Reconnect Policy”. Uzbekistan will also gain access to the Central Asian Republics (CARs) under this policy.
Both sides also talked about the matter concerning bilateral and transit trade. The Ambassador pledged Kazakhstan’s continued support for Pakistan.
